Entrepreneurs of the so-called “Potato Republic” have demonstrated a good level of preparation of startups.
On July 16 the 51 st Startup Battle organized by the Startup.Network investment platform and Startup Hub IMAGURU took place at the very heart of the Republic of Belarus.
Seven promising and ambitious Belarusian founders have upheld the honor of their country at the investment market. During the “Entrepreneurship block” the co-founder of Startup Hub IMAGURU Anastasia Homenkova and the co-founder of Kuoll.com Dmitriy Kaigorodov took the floor before the participants and guests. Anastasia told the audience about the development of startup ecosystem in Belarus, attracting investment and creating the first Belarusian startup hub IMAGURU, and Dmitriy shared the secrets of creating a successful startup in the Republic, shared a story how he had found a team for the development of the own project, and also about the acceleration programs in TechMinsk and Startup Sauna.

The winner of the Belarus investment battle in terms of the number of the votes earned from the experts was the “Virtz” capital investment project with the average point of 4,58.
In general, the rating is as follows:
The first place: Virtz - 4,58
Virtz is a mobile app that allows you to save time by using a virtual personal assistant. In other words, it is the robot that fixes the meetings and puts them in the calendar using metadata, as well as responds to messages for its owner when the owner’s busy.
The second place: DRONEX - 4,5
Dronex is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that delivers goods from online stores. In the seed-round, the team is planning to invite 1.1 million investments under the terms of
convertible debt. For the present moment all the necessary patents have been received, there’s a strong team (more than 30 people), small-scale production has been started, 900 drones and 300 stations have been already sold.
The third place: NeoSound - 4,33
NeoSound is an innovative tool for creating music in an easy and natural way, using only your voice, but not musical instruments. The product has been marketed as a mobile app.
The fourth place: Lord of Poker - 3,09;
The fifth place: Bloom - 3,08;
The sixth place: buzzer.space - 2,5;
The seventh place: Noisy Radio - 2,36.
